Overcoming Fears About Mary – Jessica Ptomey

As an Evangelical Christian, Jessica Ptomey had a vague picture of how Mary fit into Catholic theology, and a lot of it was based on her perception that Catholics worshipped Mary. As she began to meet Catholics and hear the way that they talked about Mary, she realized that honoring the mother of Jesus for her special role in salvation history wasn’t worship at all; it was a natural and human way for the family of God to operate.
