The Saints in the Universal Church – Rakhi McCormick

Growing up Hindu in Iowa, Rakhi McCormick loved when she had opportunities to participate in festivals that celebrated her heritage, because they connected her to a larger community that shared her traditions, and she felt like she was part of a family.

Rakhi shares how all the things she loved about those experiences took on a whole new character when she became Catholic, and how the liturgical calendar and the lives of the saints showed her a Truth that transcends all cultures, but also celebrates what it looks like to see fidelity to Christ lived out uniquely by people from every tongue, tribe and nation.
