The Power of Liturgical Prayer – Nathan Wigfield
In his Christian upbringing, Nathan Wigfield was always encouraged to pray, and to do so in his own words. However, he would sometimes get stuck in prayer, and find it difficult to get at what it was he wanted to express to God. When he discovered the tradition of liturgical prayer, especially the Liturgy of the Hours, Nathan realized that not only had Christians been praying the Psalms for centuries, but that even Jesus himself prayed these words from Scripture that address the full range of human experience and the desire to grow closer to God.
