Learning to Pray with the Scriptures – Nathan Wigfield
As an Evangelical Christian, Nathan Wigfield had the importance of prayer instilled in him from an early age. Outside of the Lord’s Prayer and prayer before meals, he remembers most of those prayers being extemporaneous, and in his own words. Later, as Nathan began researching the history of prayer, he found beauty and practical value in the ancient Christian tradition of praying written prayers, especially the idea of praying the Psalms and the Liturgy of the Hours.
