From Preacher to Lector – Sharon Ripley

As an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Sharon Ripley felt a call to speak the word of God to the people of God.

When she left that ministry to enter the Catholic Church, she wondered what might happen to that gift.

Sharon discusses how she has found a new passion for proclaiming the Scriptures during the Liturgy of the Word at Mass as a lector at her parish.
