Discovering Mary Through Art – Michelle Paine

When Michelle Paine was still a Presbyterian, her formation as an artist led her to study a number of images of the Virgin Mary throughout history. And especially when she studied abroad in Italy, she was surrounded by historic images of Mary everywhere she turned.

Michelle shares how pondering those works of devotional and liturgical art helped her better understand the place of Mary in the life of the Church.
