In his first letter to the Corinthians, St. Paul refers to the Israelites receiving supernatural food and drink in the desert, and how despite this providence from the Lord, many of them still managed to fall away (I Cor 10:1-22).
Paul mentions this reality as a warning to his readers, that they might not take their own reception of supernatural food and drink for granted, and fall away like some of their ancestors.
So what was the present-day supernatural food and drink Paul was referring to in that passage?
