Todd & Beth Allen: Former Non-denominational Evangelicals

June 19, 2006 No Comments

Beth was born in an active Episcopal family but she didn’t know why she was in church or what it meant. After she graduated from high school she stopped attended church because she felt no need. When she met Todd, her future husband, who was a born again Christian, she was drawn to Jesus Christ and turned her life over to him. Todd grew up in the South in a Methodist family. He became a born-again Christian in a Burger King. After they were married, they both became preoccupied with supporting their family causing them to drift apart and away from consistent faith. Searching for a church home, their journey to the Catholic Church began when a friend began to share Scripture with Beth at her boys’ ball game.
