Michael Gilstrap: Former Episcopal Priest

February 19, 1999 No Comments

Michael and his family were converted to Christ through the Baptist church when he was 13 years old. At a Baptist college, in Texas, he began to question the depth of Baptist theology. So, he became a Presbyterian. He led a think tank called Geneva Ministries for 10 years. During that time his Presbyterian congregation became Episcopalian, and he along with it. He attended an Anglican seminary and was ordained an Episcopal priest. Frustrated at the stagnate state of his parish, he saw a sign for God that he was to become Catholic. He and his family entered the Church in August 1995.
