Don Smith – Former Nondenominational Minister

Don Smith returns to the program to share his journey back to the Catholic Church, and dig into the meaning of discipleship and spiritual growth. Don stopped practicing his Catholic faith in his teens, and was an agnostic hitchhiking across the country when he met some ‘Bible Christians’ who led him to a born-again experience. After several years as a pastor of a non-denominational congregation, his church split, leaving him to question the meaning of spiritual authority. That search led him back to the Catholic Church.

Don now uses his gifts in lay ministry to help parishes foster a culture of discipleship through small groups, mentoring, and leadership training.
