Billy Kangas returns to the program to share more about his journey from Lutheranism to the Catholic Church. Raised in both Lutheran and Charismatic circles, Billy grew up with a liturgical and sacramental formation, but also a pietistic and mystical sensibility as well. In seminary, he felt drawn to the Catholic Church, especially through Her rich prayer tradition, but still had trouble with the idea of the papacy until a surprise encounter that left him speechless. Billy also talks about his work with the Hope Clinic, an ecumenical medical mission in Michigan.

Billy Kangas is a former Lutheran minister who serves as the Director of Community Engagement for The Hope Clinic, and is co-founder of Cultivate Coffee and Tap House in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
