Bill Rahmes: Former Episcopalian

November 27, 2000 No Comments

Bill grew up in New Jersey in the Episcopal Church. He had a very good foundation in knowing our Lord Jesus Christ. After World War II, he entered professional baseball and played for the Cincinnati Reds. His journey to the Catholic faith began when, at the request of his wife, he asked the Blessed Virgin Mary to pray for their breached baby. The next day, the doctors were able to turn the baby around. Soon after he went to the rectory and asked the Catholic priest to instruct him in the faith.  He was received into the Church the following spring.
