Allen Levine: Convert from Judaism
Al came from a secular Jewish family that had not been religious for several generations. Religion was not an aspect of his life. Even so, as a boy, he had a sense of the presence of God. In the 1980’s, he worked for the Soviet embassy. After a friend was executed for espionage in Moscow the shock compelled Al to seek God and Jesus. He sought out a priest at Georgetown University and six months later was baptized.
