Why Eating is Central to Catholic Worship – Deacon Lou Aaron

Even during his time away from the Catholic Church, as a restaurant owner, Deacon Lou Aaron knew that the practice of eating in community and showing hospitality through food were important parts of the human experience. When he finally returned to his faith, Deacon Lou was able to see more clearly the role of food in the ministry of Jesus, culminating in the Last Supper when He gave His apostles His own Body and Blood in the Holy Eucharist.
