Understanding the Lord’s Supper – Rachelle Parker

Growing up in the Church of Christ, Rachelle Parker loved participating in the Lord’s Supper; it was a time for her to prayerfully reflect on the love and sacrifice of Jesus. Even though it was only a symbol, it still held deep meaning for her.

When she began to discover Catholic teaching on the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, it scared her at first, but the more she explored it, the more she realized that it was a fulfillment of that beauty she had experienced at church as a child.
