Trusting the Bible, Trusting the Church – Deacon Joe Allison

Through his time serving congregations and while involved with YWAM, the Bible was the most important way that Joe Allison had to learn about the God he’d committed his life to serve. So when he ran across something in Scripture he didn’t understand, he trusted God, with the sure hope that it made sense and that he would understand it someday.

He shares how over time, he came to realize that the same God who gave us the Bible, also gave us the Church that preserved and passed on the Bible, and he could learn to trust that gift from God as well.
