The Challenge of Welcoming Converts – Marcus Peter

March 5, 2021 CHN Videos, Insights

When Marcus Peter was an atheist, and had a radical experience of God’s love, he immediately went to his family’s Catholic parish for guidance, but was brushed off by the priest. Fortunately, friends in the Assemblies of God recognized his desire to follow Jesus, and helped form him in prayer and study. Later, Marcus would return to the Catholic Church, but that early experience of being dismissed by his local parish serves as a reminder to him of the crucial need to recognize the spiritual hunger of the people who reach out to the Church.
