As a theology student in England studying for the Anglican priesthood, Andrew Petiprin developed a keen interest in the life and writings of John Henry Newman. But there was a sense among some of his Anglican peers that the second half of Newman’s life, after he became Catholic, was a tragic period that was best not to explore. However, when Andrew finally dug into Newman’s Catholic works, he found not only fascinating ideas, but a fellow pilgrim seeking Christ with both head and heart.
