Dr. David Russell Mosley grew up in a Church of Christ environment, where worship was “a cappella,” and the structure of a Sunday service would vary from week to week, in hopes of creating a space for the free movement of the Holy Spirit.
But as David discovered the Anglican tradition, and liturgy, it began to reshape his understanding of what worship is actually for, beyond trying to facilitate an emotional connection between the believer and God. The pursuit of that question would eventually lead him to the Catholic Church.
