The first ever CHNetwork Deep in History pilgrimage is wrapping up! Marcus Grodi, Msgr. Jeffrey Steenson and Ken Hensley have had a great time in Italy, visiting Assisi, Siena, and (as you can see from Marcus’ photo above), Rome, with fellow pilgrims, digging into the historical importance of our faith. Check out some of their updates!

Our October CHNewsletter is here! We’ve made our newsletters available in a new, more interactive format, that you can check out here.

In a great short video, Marcus and JonMarc Grodi look at whether it’s really necessary for sincere non-Catholic Christians who truly love Jesus to “come home” to the Catholic Church.

This week’s episode of The Journey Home was a great conversation with former Orthodox Presbyterians Mark and Desiree Hausam.

In a newly available written conversion story, Paul de Partee shared how his journey to the Catholic Church began when he visited a Christmas Eve Midnight Mass.

And on a new Insights video short, Jeff Cavins explained why it’s important for Catholics to engage in personal Bible reading.

 Meanwhile, around the web…

CONVERTS AND CONVERSION

Perry West looked at how one convert fell in love with Jesus through the Byzantine Catholic Church.

And K.V. Turley shared how an English lawyer was converted by the Blessed Sacrament, with the help of St. Therese of Lisieux.

APOLOGETICS PICKS OF THE WEEK

On the feast of St. Jerome this week, Pope Francis instituted the 3rd Sunday of Ordinary time as Word of God Sunday.

And Trent Horn provided some handy arguments for refuting people who use the Bible and Christianity to justify their support for abortion.

A recent convert who’s struggling with loneliness, a member who doesn’t feel he’s being intellectually challenged by his RCIA classes, and a Protestant Christian trying to wrap her heart and mind around the Real Presence – these are just a few examples of the people we are praying for and working with this month at The Coming Home Network International. Please help us continue to support those on the journey by visiting chnetwork.org/donate today!

“Remember that when you leave this earth, you can take with you nothing that you have received – only what you have given: a full heart, enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice and courage.”

St. Francis of Assisi
