CONVERTS AND CONVERSION
The Pillar described the rise in interest in adult baptisms in Switzerland as an uptick, but not a boom.
Sr. Miriam James, a former guest on The Journey Home, has announced that she is discerning the formation of a new religious community.
Another previous Journey Home guest, Bishop John Barres, whose parents were converts, shared the story of how he was baptized as an infant by Fulton Sheen, who was beatified this week in St. Louis.
And in light of Fulton Sheen’s beatification, the National Catholic Register looked at several stories of people whose relationship with Sheen was a significant factor in their decision to become Catholic.
