The latest from CHNetwork

This week’s episode of The Journey Home was a lively discussion with Paul Rose, a former Evangelical, who shared his path to the Church and his passion for the Liturgy of the Hours.

On a new Deep in Christ, JonMarc Grodi discussed the tools the Church gives us to help avoid falling into sin.

We featured the written testimony of Lee Sondeno, whose work as a Pentecostal music minister ground to a halt during COVID; Lee shares how that experience led him to consider the claims of the Catholic Church.

Ken Hensley issued a personal invitation to join him, Msgr. Jeffrey Steenson, and Kenny Burchard on a pilgrimage to Catholic Poland this coming September. To watch Ken’s message, visit chnetwork.org/poland.

And a decree of Heroic Virtue was announced by the Vatican for Mary Mother Alphonsa (AKA Rose Hawthorne). She now has the title “Venerable!” We made a short video about her conversion this past Summer.

CONVERTS AND CONVERSION

The USCCB laid out the technical details of the latest news in the sainthood cause of Rose Hawthorne.

A family from Utah shared how they’ll complete the process of all of them being received into the Church in a couple of weeks at the Easter Vigil.

Aleteia highlighted a new book about the conversion stories of Bob Hope and other notable American entertainers.

Joseph Pearce reflected on how E.F. Schumacher’s conversion was inspired by Catholic Social Teaching.

And Catholic Answers hosted an Open Forum for those currently going through RCIA/OCIA.

APOLOGETICS PICKS OF THE WEEK

The Vatican is seeing to draw up a framework for a more formal dialogue between Catholics and Confucians.

And longtime friend of CHNetwork Dr. Paul Thigpen shared a short summary of the Church’s thought on questions of the multiverse and extraterrestrial intelligence.

A member who’s struggling to accept certain aspects of Catholic moral teaching, another member who’s worried they’ll alienate their family by sharing their Catholic testimony, and all our members who are preparing to be received into the Church at Easter this year — these are just a few of the people we are praying for and working with at The Coming Home Network. Please help us continue to support those on the journey by visiting chnetwork.org/donate today!

“I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through belief in the Threeness,
Through confession of the Oneness
of the Creator of creation.”
