The latest from CHNetwork

This week’s episode of The Journey Home was a fascinating conversation with Dr. Erik Baldwin, who shared how his study of philosophy and his experience of the Christian music underground led him to the Catholic Faith.

In a new On the Journey short, Kenny Burchard looked at what the Catechism has to say about the ultimate destiny of the Church.

And on the latest Insights, Becky Carter shared how, after years of “church shopping,” she finally came back home to her Catholic Faith.

CONVERTS AND CONVERSION

The United States Catholic Bishops approved a motion to support the idea of Catholic convert St. John Henry Newman as a Doctor of the Church.

The USCCB also approved the next step in the sainthood process for another American Catholic convert. Fr. Isaac Hecker.

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has helped to work on an intentional community that gives former prisoners a chance to live, work and pray together in community.

And some thieves who stole items from a Spanish church have returned, them, apologized, and gone to Confession.

APOLOGETICS PICKS OF THE WEEK

The Vatican’s doctrinal office has once again affirmed that Catholics cannot be Freemasons.

And Journey Home alumnus Lorelei Savaryn explained what the Catholic Church teaches about relics and how she came to be in possession of one.

A member wanting to understand Catholic teaching on redemptive suffering, a young inquirer who wants to go to Mass but is afraid it will upset their parents, and all our members nervous about what they’ll say if they get asked about Catholicism this Thanksgiving  — these are just a few of the people we are praying for and working with at The Coming Home Network.  Please help us continue to support those on the journey by visiting chnetwork.org/donate today!
