Got a question about the Catholic Church, or need assistance on your journey? Consider becoming a member, or feel free to contact us for more information.  The Coming Home Network exists to help converts, reverts, those on the journey, and those who are just curious – we’d love to hear from you!

This week’s episode of The Journey Home was a great discussion with Rachelle Parker, who shared her journey from the Church of Christ to the Catholic Church.

Our latest written conversion story came from Margaret Reveira, who spent years disillusioned with the Catholic Church before returning home.

In the latest Deep in History, Marcus Grodi and Msgr. Jeffrey Steenson looked at how St. Irenaeus spoke about his mentor, St. Polycarp, who was taught by St. John the Apostle.

In a new episode of On the Journey, Matt Swaim and Ken Hensley pondered whether Jesus and St. Paul were caught up in a legalistic system of salvation.

On this week’s Deep in Scripture episode, Marcus and JonMarc Grodi discussed St. Cyprian of Carthage and what it means to fear the Lord.

And on our newest Signposts video short, Dr. Bud Marr (who will be on The Journey Home later this Fall!) shared how St. John Henry Newman led him to the Catholic Church.

Meanwhile, around the web…

CONVERTS AND CONVERSION

John Burger shared the conversion story of the journalist who introduced Mother Teresa to the world.

And Lydwine shared the story of an IRA militant turned devout Catholic.

APOLOGETICS PICKS OF THE WEEK

Karlo Broussard pondered the question of whether our future sins are forgiven.

And Fr. Patrick Mary Briscoe, O.P., argued that Jesus gave us the Church in part because He knew that we were longing for it.

A member who’s interested in the Church but troubled by Catholic infighting, another member who’s journey into the Church has been stalled by health issues, and all our members who will be beginning RCIA over the next few weeks – these are just a few examples of the people we are praying for and working with at The Coming Home Network International. Please help us continue to support those on the journey by visiting chnetwork.org/donate today!
