Jeff Cavins was a young pastor when he first discovered the Church Fathers, those great leaders and thinkers of Christianity from the first few centuries of the Church. At first, they frightened him, because the kind of worship they were describing seemed so different from the kind of worship he was leading in his nondenominational congregation. However, the more he studied, the more his fear and confusion turned to inspiration and excitement, and he found himself on an adventure of discovery that led him to the Catholic Church.
