Coming Home Network team members Seth Paine and Matt Swaim were at the March for Life in Washington, DC again this year, with the goal of highlighting the annual pro-life gathering as a bright spot in efforts toward Christian unity. For the 45th straight year since the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion in the United States, people of all faith backgrounds – Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, Jewish – and even no faith at all, joined their voices in defense of the dignity of all human life from conception to natural death. This year, Matt and Seth ran into recent Journey Home guests Matt D’Antuono and Tom Murphy, as well as Mike Aquilina, Austin Ruse, and well over a hundred thousand marchers, and got their takes on how the March for Life is a wonderful example of what can happen when people from different faith backgrounds get together for a common purpose.
