Judy Davids was born into a Plymouth Brethren family, and from a young age knew that she needed to follow Jesus wherever he called her. She met her husband at Wheaton College, and travelled with him as a missionary to Germany and several other assignments, leading Bible studies and other groups while he pastored and taught as an Episcopal priest. Judy herself was later ordained by a Vineyard in Texas to do pastoral care.
When her husband began to feel called to the Catholic Church, Judy was at first fearful; but she knew from a lifetime of experience that if this call was from God, that obeying it would be the only thing that would truly bring her joy and peace.
