“I began to sense that the Lord was really there in the Eucharist.” – Brother Maron

Both of Brother Maron’s parents joined the Episcopalian Church when he was growing up, but they didn’t stay in it for long. As he became a young adult himself, he continued to think of God, even though he wasn’t living a lifestyle that honored God. Later, when one of his poker buddies, an Episcopalian priest, invited him to Church, Brother Maron began to feel himself drawn to the mystery of the Eucharist, and began to study and pray more to try to understand Christ’s unique presence in the Blessed Sacrament. Today, Brother Maron is a member of the Maronite Monks of Adoration in Petersham, Massachusetts.
