Santonio Hill was raised Catholic, but wasn’t really interested in his faith; all he wanted to do with his life was play football. He got a Division I scholarship to play and had planned to accept, but a priest challenged him to consider trying seminary.
Santonio outright refused because he wasn’t really that interested in his faith, but that night he had a dream where he felt God was calling him to some form of ministry. He realized that he had been Catholic his whole life and never even really attempted to pray or ask questions about faith.
He decided to decline his football scholarship and go to seminary to explore this mysterious call he’d felt from God. He eventually discerned out, but discovered that he was being called to use his gifts to minister the Gospel in new and unexpected ways.
