Pam Forrester: Former Evangelical Free

When Pam was eight she asked her mother to take her to the little church at the end of our street. She began to drop her off every week for Sunday School. There Pam accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. For years she had a very fervent faith, even up to her first year in college – when the theory of evolution and the desire to sin enticed her to abandon her faith. For two years she became an Atheist, returning to Christianity after reading The Late Great Planet Earth by Hal Lindsey. In 1997, while perusing home school curriculum catalogs, Pam saw a course for junior high school students designed to introduce Protestants to the Catholic faith and vice versa. Interested to learn in why anyone would want to become Catholic, she ordered the books for the course. This began a journey that would lead her to the Catholic Church.
