Growing up in Australia under the tutelage of a saintly grandmother and a devout mother – both Catholic – Matt Fradd was brought to Mass each week. But gradually, as he entered his teens, that commitment became less and less important. Rather he turned to secular pursuits, particularly music and partying. During his senior year in high school, he was invited to go to Rome for the year 2000 World Youth Day. He agreed thinking it would be a great party scene. Instead, it was the place where his heart was converted for Christ. He became an ardent Christian immediately, but his lifestyle took a while to catch up to his newfound faith. Today, Matt is the recruter for NET (National Evangelization Team) Ministries in Canada.
