Marshall Fightlin’s father was Jewish, and his mother Catholic, and when they married, they decided together that Judaism would be the family’s religion. Marshall has vivid memories of celebrating the Passover, and observing Jewish holidays as a child. When some of his Christian classmates referred to him as a “Christ killer,” he was confused – how could he be personally responsible for something that happened 2000 years ago? Later, as a young man, he found himself debating both a Baptist friend and some Catholic seminarians about the merits of Christianity, and decided to enter the Catholic Church- only to discover that his mother had secretly baptized him Catholic at age 3! Marshall now runs a counseling practice at catholicpsychconsult.com.
