Mark Lenaghan: Former Member of the IRA

Mark came from a Catholic family in Northern Ireland. When the Troubles began in 1969, his home was attacked by the Unionists several times. During this time he turned away from religion and abandoned his faith as an early teenager. Seething with anger, Mark joined the Irish Republican Army when he was 16. Over the years he climbed the latter in the IRA becoming more radical. His return to Christianity began when he met a faithful Catholic priest who sat down and began to talk with him about the love and mercy of God in Jesus Christ.
