Margaret Berry: Southern Baptist Who Lost Her Faith But Found a Job with Franciscan Missionaries

August 27, 2007 Baptist, Conversion Stories

Margaret grew up a Protestant, even though her parents didn’t really attend church. She attended a Catholic school because it was one of the better places to get an education and was impressed by the nuns. After losing her faith, she found a job with the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word, which sparked her interest, rekindled her faith and led her Home to the Catholic Church.

I just heard the rebroadcast of Margaret Berry’s story on “The Journey Home” with Marcus Grodi.

I want to say that Margaret is a lady of class. Her words were to the point and I could hear the love in her voice.

I am a cradle Catholic and her words and love hit home for me. She has shown that by trying to model Christ in her everyday life can lead others to Jesus in the Church.

God bless you Young Lady. May the Good Lord bless and keep you and your family in the palm of His hand.
