John Lillyman – Former Anglican and Presbyterian

John Lillyman’s journey of faith has taken him all over the world, and brought him into encounter with a number of well-respected Christian traditions.  Raised in Australia with little understanding of faith, he went on to first truly encounter religion while studying medieval architecture in college.  As a young Christian, his zeal for the faith brought him into contact with L’Abri communities, the Evangelical intellectual traditions as preserved and taught by Wheaton College, and even to the point of almost becoming an Anglican priest himself.  It was finally the proclamation of the Anglican Ordinariate by Pope Benedict XVI that led John to follow Christ into the Catholic Church.
