Jason Simon speaks of a faith-filled childhood in which he publicly declared his commitment to Jesus Christ within the Assemblies of God tradition at the age of five. Â His faith was a big part of his life for the next ten years. Â But in high school, as Jason began seeking more excitement and fun in his life, that commitment waned. Â A relationship with a Catholic girl eventually reached an impasse because of theological differences. Â And yet, the Holy Spirit continued to work in his heart. Jason got involved in campus ministry in college where his heart was softened. Â A series of experiences deeply affected Jason which brought him, once again, into relationship with his former girlfriend. Â This time, Christ was at the center of their lives and making disciples their joint purpose. Â Now married Catholics, the Simons are involved in the apostolate, Evangelical Catholic.
