Greg was reared Catholic, even though his mother was Methodist. Until the 6th grade, he attended Catholic school and loved the faith, being an altar boy and sensing the majesty of God when he was before the tabernacle. All this change when he transferred to public school, where he became immersed in the counter culture of the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. He tried Transcendental Meditation and other enlightenment seeking movements. After a while he had a born again experience with and Evangelical Protestant group but later fell away. Only the sudden illness of a family member and God’s grace in prayer before the tabernacle was able to bring him home to Jesus in his Church.
