Fr. Sebastian White, O.P. – Former Evangelical and Anglican

Though he was baptized Catholic as an infant, Fr. Sebastian White’s family left shortly thereafter to worship in Assemblies of God and Evangelical Free congregations. When he went to Gordon College, he started to be troubled at the historical disconnectedness of many Christians, and began attending an Anglican parish. Along the way, he met Thomas Howard and others who helped him see the beauty and reasonableness of the Catholic tradition into which he’d been initially baptized. He also shares what led him to the Dominican Order, and some fascinating details about his work as editor-in-chief of Magnificat.
