Fr. Leo Patalinghug: A Revert to the Faith

Father Leo was baptized Catholic and brought up in a Catholic home in Baltimore, Maryland. When young he was bored at Mass and questioned his faith. His heart was turned to the Lord at a parish mission where the priest explained the Mass step by step. God gave him a hunger for Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. He sought out the Lord through the Scripture, youth groups, pilgrimages and more. The more he sought the Lord the more God gave him an increasing hunger for him. This was the beginning of a journey that would eventually lead him to the priesthood. Father Leo is now a member of a community of consecrated life called Voluntas Dei. He founded “Grace Before Meals”, an apostolate to strengthen families around the dinner table. He is the host of the EWTN program “Savoring Our Faith.”

Bless Fr. Leo who is truly able to share his gifts and talents with those who need it. May he continue to inspire others especially the youth to take action with Jesus through Mary.

This was such an incredible and inspiring testimony! There is so much to understand about food, communal meals, and the way our bodies are ordered and nourished! Thank you for giving us quite a bit to “chew” on. (All pun intended 😉
