Father Jordan was reared in a Catholic home but in college fell away from the faith. He considered himself Catholic but didn’t practice. He lived his life outside the Church of 18 years. The prayers of his mother and sister brought him back. He finally, at the suggestion of his sister, went to Confession, which took him a couple of hours. He felt free for the first time in years and realized that Christ is real. Very soon after he hear God, while in prayer, telling him that he wanted him to be a priest, a Dominican priest to be precise. When he visited the vocations director he know he was home.
