Father Eric was born in Montreal to parents of German descent. His father had been Catholic but Father Eric was raised a nominal Lutheran. Through some Baptist schoolmates and later a Catholic friend he came to know Christ. This interview is fantastic!! Praise God!! First, the “Good News” bible drawings! Who could think of God using this to call someone’s attention to the Gospel! Then, helping a friend by “only saying, without actually praying” the Rosary just because his friend needed some help!!
Oh Lord jesus! God is so loving and charming, so subtle and kind. May He be praised forever!!
Further on, the prayer to the Guardian Angel! That was an amazing experience! God was totally surrounding him with His sweet grace!
Also, he gave a very clear explanation of the hole of OPUS DEI in the Church as essentially a “catechetical” body of believers and priests, serving the Body of Christ and helping everyone to become saints in their ordinary lives. Amen!
