Dr. Ronda Chervin: A Jewish Atheist Who Became A Catholic Christian
Ronda was raised atheist. Her family was Jewish but she was not told this when she was a child. She began to study Philosophy to find the meaning of life. She found herself drawn to Catholic art, specifically Salvador Dali’s “Christ” and “Last Supper”, even though she did not think that they were attractive as art. Once, while visiting Chartres Cathedral, she thought: How could something so beautiful be based on something that was non-sense? Her conversion to Christ began when she had a mystical dream in which she heard someone tell her, in Hebrew which she did not understand, to say this prayer: God, if there is a God, save my soul, if I have a soul.
