Dr. Larry Chapp – Catholic revert, former Evangelical Protestant

Dr. Larry Chapp was raised Catholic, but his study of science as a kid led him to briefly consider himself as an atheist, before an encounter with Young Life in high school brought him to a born-again experience. He became immediately fascinated with rapture theology, but that appetite for learning more eventually led him to deeper theological writers like C.S. Lewis, who in turn led him to G.K. Chesterton, who in turn led him to St. John Henry Newman, and the Catholic Church.
