Dr. Jim Papandrea, son of a Protestant mother and a father with a long family history in the Catholic Church, was baptized into the faith of the latter. And yet, at a young age Jim found himself being raised and confirmed as a Lutheran. Soon after, however, he left that church and began attending the local Methodist church where his love for music got him involved in youth leadership. Eventually Jim was ordained as a Methodist deacon. Jim shares his journey of conversion through studies at two Protestant seminaries with the improbability of years later returning to one of them as a Catholic professor and author.
