Dr. Beverly Whelton: Former Seventh-Day Adventist

Beverly was brought up in a devout Seventh-day Adventist family. In her youth, she wished to be a missionary for her church. Later she drifted from Adventism because of some of their laws which she didn’t view a practical. Becoming disturbed by the issue of Abortion, he returned to an Adventist Bible study and again became an active Seventh-day Adventist. Her journey to the Catholic Church began when she read the works of St. Thomas Aquinas while attending the Catholic University of America.
