Bishop Bernt Eidsvig & Kristine Dingstad: Former Lutherans From Norway

Bishop Eidsvig is the Catholic Bishop of Olso, Norway. Reared in the State Lutheran Church of Norway, Bishop Eidsvig never felt comfortable with either Lutheran theology or the Lutheran liturgy. After attending a Lutheran seminary he contacted some Dominican brothers and asked to be received into the Catholic Church. Kristine Dingstad is the daughter of a conservative high church Lutheran minister. She felt that something was missing in her relationship with God. Reading the works of St. Catherine of Siena led her to the Catholic faith. Kristine is now the information officer for the Diocese of Oslo.
