Billie Mobley: Former Baptist

Marcus welcomes Catholic revert Billie Mobley to the Journey Home Program.  Billie, a native of Newark, NJ, and a daughter of a Southern Baptist mother and a first-generation Portuguese Catholic father, spent the first part of her life in the Catholic faith (baptized, first holy communion, schooling). However, that all changed when her mother left her father and returned to Virginia.  Sadly, she and her two siblings ended up in an orphanage, where she would reside until college.  But God, through the grace of the Blessed Virgin Mary, gradually pulled Billie back into the Church.  Billie shares the remarkable journey that has ensued after she said yes (and continues to say yes) to God’s promptings.
