Marcus welcomes former Southern Baptist and youth minister Chris Osgood. 1 Corinthians 1:10-17 deals with the issue of unity in the Church Christ established. Marcus and Chris discuss the issue of what does it look like today for Christians to align themselves with certain leaders?

Chris Osgood

Chris was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Growing up Chris rarely attended church. It wasn’t until his high school years that he found the Baptist faith. During his senior year, Chris started preaching all over the Dayton area and became the youth minister in his local church. It wasn’t until after his freshman year of college that Chris decided to transfer to Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

It was during his first year at Liberty that Chris converted and entered into communion with the Catholic Church. Upon his conversion, Chris started the group, “Catholics at Liberty” and helped other Catholic Campus and Youth Ministries around the Lynchburg area.

Upon graduating from Liberty, Chris discerned the priesthood and spent one year in seminary. After leaving the seminary, Chris took a fulltime job in youth/young adult ministry in a small Texas town. The Bishop of Laredo, then asked Chris to become the Diocesan Director of Youth Ministry. After serving the Diocese of Laredo for over two years, Chris accepted the position of Diocesan Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry with the Diocese of Savannah.
