Marcus Grodi and Msgr. Jeffrey Steenson continue their study of Book 3 of Against Heresies by St. Irenaeus of Lyons by looking at the meaning and effect of the work of Jesus Christ.

St. Irenaeus looks at the effects of the sin of Adam and Eve, and what Christ accomplishes in his passion and resurrection to break the power of death. St. Irenaeus wants us to understand not only the reality that Christ came to save sinners, but also why He chose to do so in the way that He did.
