Jason Stewart: Former Orthodox Presbyterian Minister

Jason Stewart was raised in a “generically” covenant evangelical Christian home where all the basic tenets of the tradition were taught and lived out.  At the age of 15, Jason’s father died.  For the next four years, Jason “went crazy for a while”, immersed in a heavy metal band and living a life removed from the faith.   Then, at 19, he was drawn into a Pentecostal Church with a very large, active youth group.  He felt a deep desire to minister to people.  His journey of formation brought him into reformed theology of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and eventually to seminary leading to the ordained ministry.  Jason shares what intellectual tensions developed while serving as a pastor and how ultimately he and his wife were called into the Catholic Church.
